Corrections are especially welcome

Much of this site was assembled by reading the books mechanically, and that process makes particular kinds of mistake. If you have found one, it helps to include the address of the page and, where you can, the chapter you think is right.

The most useful reports are:

• A citation that does not hold — the chapter named does not say what the page claims.
• Two things on one page — an entry that has gathered up several different characters who share a word. Several have been found this way.
• One thing on two pages — the same character under two names, not yet joined up.
• A description on the wrong entry — a quoted passage that describes something else.
• A missing person, place or creature — anything named in the books that has no page here.

What we cannot help with

This site covers the public-domain Oz books only. It holds nothing about the 1939 film, and cannot answer questions about rights in it or in any later adaptation.
